Mildred “Mickey” Geistwite, 78, of Harrisburg, passed away at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital on February 23, 2026. Born in Tyrone, PA to the late Dave and Patricia (Clark) Mulhollan, she was the loving wife of the late Robert "Bobby" Geistwite.

She worked in a medical lab for many years, and in her later years, worked for the PACE program. Outside of work, Mickey enjoyed singing, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. Cooking Sunday dinner was a special delight to her while smiling, laughing, and imparting her joy and wisdom to her family.

Mickey was a ray of light to those who knew her - she was always ready with a smile or a listening ear and touched the hearts of many. Her unwavering spirit and boundless positivity enabled her to fight Huntington's Disease with a vengeance until the very end. She was a true giver and lover, and instilled her values in her children, who, in turn, passed them down to her grandchildren, A part of her will remain in her siblings, children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews forever. Mickey had a love of all things medical and music, working in the former field for years, and making the latter a routine part of her life, whether it was singing in the church choir, playing handbells, or putting on a tune and feeling the rhythm.

She was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Mickey was a loving mother, friend, and confidante, and she is now reunited with the love of her life, her husband, Bobby. Mickey's spirit will carry on, and she will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate to be touched by her. A true angel on Earth she was - Heaven has gained a dear soul.

She is survived by her children Nicole Chace and Aaron Geistwite (Shanna); her grandchildren, Elia Geistwite, Caleb Geistwite, and Carys Chace; her sister, Lisa Wolfe; her brothers, Tim Mulhollan and David Mulhollan; nieces and nephews, Shelly Mulhollan Lazeration (Randy), Chrissy Mulhollan, Timmy Mulhollan (Heather), Michael Mulhollan, Kasha Griva (Mike), and Dylan Wolfe (Brooke) as well as many great- nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at the New Cumberland American Legion, 214 Market Street, New Cumberland, on April 11, 2026, from 1PM - 5PM.
