Richard N. Fetrow, 58, of Hanover, passed away at his residence on March 19, 2026. Born in Hanover to the late Jesse and Rose (Warrick) Fetrow, he was the loving husband of Jessica (Frye) Fetrow.

Richard was a 1987 graduate of Hanover High School at which he competed as a wrestler and as the running back for the Nighthawks. Throughout his career, Richard had various jobs including South PA Press, Case Farm Hatchery, GDC Keystone, R.H. Shepherd, and most recently with Pero Family Farms.

Richard was a member of York Springs Bible Church where he sang on the Worship Team twice a month, co-led as a youth group leader for 6th and 7th grade, and assisted the Youth Worship Team when needed. In addition, he was an AWANA Team Member and an Operation Christmas Child volunteer.

In addition to his wife, Jessica, Richard is survived by his mother, Rose Hippensteel; his son, RJ Fetrow; his daughters Dicie Fetrow and Jessica (wife of Jim) Fair; two grandchildren, EJ and Bella Fair; father-in-law, Royce Bacon; as well as extended family and many friends.

At his wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
