Ways you can honor Suzanne's memory:
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Suzanne Lynn Wenger, a beloved mother and grandmother, who departed this world on December 1, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born on June 4, 1951, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she spent her formative years.
Suzanne was the cherished daughter of Ralph C. Herr and Helen M. (Erb) Herr. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph C. Herr II. Suzanne's legacy is carried on by her loving children, Kari Fisher, Joel Wenger, and Michael L. Wenger, as well as her precious granddaughter, Samantha Garman, her great-grandson, Carter, and her sister Cynthia Herr Gibson.
Suzanne made contributions through her involvement with the First Presbyterian Church. She spent countless hours volunteering at the church store, where she not only helped provide for those in need but also formed lasting friendships and connections with fellow parishioners.
Suzanne had a diverse range of interests that brought joy to her life. She found solace in reading, often escaping into the pages of her favorite books. A unique collector, Suzanne had a fondness for gathering salt and pepper shakers, an endearing hobby that reflected her appreciation for both the whimsical and the ordinary. Her love for television, particularly the series "The Walking Dead," became a shared experience with her family. She found comfort and enjoyed playing with her beloved dog, Daisy.
We are all devastated by Suzanne's loss and were not prepared for the cost of a funeral service. We want to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Suzanne's final wishes for cremation. Please contact either Kari or Joel if you able to contribute. The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
Rest in peace, dear Suzanne. You will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
