Faith L. Montieth, 95, formerly of Mohnton, passed away at The Laurel Center in Hamburg on December 27, 2025. Faith Montieth was 95 years old at the time of her death. Born in Northumberland, Pennsylvania in 1930 to Atwood and Lilian Barnhart, she was the youngest of four siblings - one brother and three sisters. Faith was married to Samuel Montieth on June 30, 1951, and made Phoenixville, Pennsylvania her new home.

At just 10 years of age in 1941 she was baptized in symbol of her dedication as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was joined at that time by her mother and two sisters. Most recently, as a member of the Hamburg Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses she continued in her life of faithful service by regularly attending weekly meetings online. 

Faith was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Samuel Montieth, a daughter Darlene Patricia, her brother Harry Barnhart and her sister Shirley Bingamin. She is survived by her son Wayne Montieth with his wife Connie, daughter Sandra Farr of Port Richey FL with her husband Larry, and her sister Thelma Roughton of Reading PA. Also surviving her are 6 Grandchildren and 15 Great grandchildren.
